Enlisted of the Year Award — Audie Fitch

Sergeant Audie Fitch is recognised for exceptional and sustained contribution to the USS Pioneer throughout 2025, marked by reliability, narrative leadership, and meaningful impact on both mission outcomes and crew cohesion. Across multiple missions, Audie consistently anchored key scenes at moments of uncertainty, particularly in posts such as Command Team and briefings, where their steady presence helped shape direction and maintain focus under pressure.

Audie’s strength extends beyond operational moments into the quieter spaces that give the ship its sense of life and continuity. In posts like "Coffee for Your Price Charming" and "Meal Before Work", Audie fostered authentic connections between crew members, building relationships that later reinforced trust and cooperation during high-stakes situations. These interactions were not incidental; they added depth and emotional continuity to the year’s storytelling.

During emotionally challenging missions, including "Sobs in the Darkness" and "Message From Beyond", Audie demonstrated a rare willingness to engage with the weight of loss, fear, and uncertainty, allowing space for others while reinforcing the human cost of the ship’s work. Throughout the year, Audie’s character growth remained cumulative and consistent, with confidence and composure clearly shaped by earlier experiences rather than isolated moments.

Through collaborative writing, sustained engagement, and a grounded, dependable presence across 2025, Sergeant Audie Fitch exemplified the qualities of an outstanding enlisted crew member. Their contributions strengthened missions, supported fellow writers, and helped define the emotional and narrative backbone of the USS Pioneer, making them a deserving recipient of Enlisted of the Year.
Sergeant Major Lachlan Barr

For most of 2024 the USS Pioneer wrote the mission titled What Lies Beneath. During this mission the Chief of the Boat was left in command of the ship and boy did they excel. Lachlan not only rallied the crew in their writing but kept the mission moving from an out of character perspective as well. I am confident that this mission would not have been a success if it were not for their hard work. 2024 was definitely the year of the Sereant Major. Thank you for being my friend, and sounding board. My brother from accross the pond.

2023 was a banner year for our beloved Marine XO. Not only have they earned Character of The Month (Jan), Second Officer's Award of Merit (Mar), Executive Officer's Award of Merit (Nov), but they have written 53 posts. Those achievements are nothing to shake a stick at. The character growth has been substantial both in their career and personal spheres. In the Marine Corps Merrick has stepped up and played integral roles in Marine missions as the Marine CO is busy being XO of the ship. In the personal sphere we have seen them branch out and explore romance.

Behind the scenes the writer behind Merrick shows great initiative in pushing posts and plotlines. Making sure everyone is involved and having fun with the story. I have to add that this writer has not only been an integral part of this crew, but they have become inseparable from this community. Indeed I cannot imagine the Pioneer without them.

I thank you for being a part of the Pioneer family and have great pride in presenting you this award.

2022 was the year of the Doctor. Not only has the Doc made sure they were involved in every plot for the year. They have improved upon the world that is the USS Pioneer by creating characters flesh it out. Always volunteering themselves to help make a story better. Hermia is truly the embodiment of a good character and good player. Thank you for everything and keep up the great work.
Lieutenant Colonel Cornelius Tremble

Simply put Tremble mad 2021 a joy to read. During a harsh time in the real world he composed posts that were both poignant and humorous. Always available to assist with plot ideas and to keep the plot moving when it slows down. There are times when he is more than a right hand, he is the left hand as well. This game is better for his presence. 2021 was better for his writing. Thank you for everything...
